Last night, I came home and discovered that more of our outside Christmas lights are out. Every time I come home it seems like more of them are not working. They look ridiculous but is there really any point in fixing them now? And the worst part is my husband does a really nice job with the lights. He strings the lights up the chimney to light the way for the big guy and adds music to boot. This got me to thinking of some of my other not so favorite parts of the Christmas season.
Shopping. I'm not a shopper even under perfect conditions. But when you have to follow people around to get a parking space just to go spend lots of money that you don't have with tons of rude people all around you? Pure torture.
Wrapping. This one might be my worst since I hate it so much. Not only do I despise it but I really stink at it too. And those people that love it and are good at it? Well they're on my list too. Just kidding, I'm actually thinking next year maybe I'll set up a barter system with a couple of people. Wrap my presents and I'll take your Christmas card picture. This sounds win/win to me, hey I may need to work on this.
Speaking of Christmas cards. This one falls into more of a love/hate thing. If I have a good idea that I can execute, then I love doing Christmas cards. If I have nothing? Ugh. Well to be honest, if I don't have a good idea, then usually I just skip them.
Anyone out there have anything I forgot? Please feel free to share your least favorite parts of the season.
