Action shots and some Facebook love

Picture
I was pretty excited to go to the high school Thanksgiving day game this year because I knew it would give me some much needed practice on my action shots.  This type of little thing is really what makes me happy these days.  It worked like a charm too as I was able to experiment with different angles and just generally play around.  I could do this because I was shooting digital.  Have I ever mentioned how much I love digital?  Digital definitely deserves its own post one of these days since it has pretty much changed my life.

Back to the game, my friend's son is  a senior on the team so I mainly focused on him which makes his mom happy.  You know, it's funny, on one hand, I have a daughter that won't even stop for a picture on her way to the concession stand and then begrudgingly poses for one after she's done. And on the other hand? Someone that is absolutely thrilled every time I lift my camera.  Let me ask you, which subject would you choose to take pictures of ??  BTW, I was always taught that you shouldn’t end a sentence with a preposition, but Grammar girl now tells me that’s a myth.  As I said before, I just love her (geek alert)!!

As an added bonus (or not), I have never been as popular on Facebook as I was last weekend.  I was getting several notifications every time I logged on which trust me never happens, EVER.  I am lucky to have one a day. This was more like when I accidentally log on as my kids and see several notifications every time and think hmm that's weird and then realize they are not for me.  Only this time, they were for me.  And my first thought? Hmm that's weird.

Below are some of my action shots from the game.

If it's not a word, then I love the fact that you care enough to make up your own words. Thanks for reading and for always being excited about the taking of the pictures. It's so fun to take them when you are my wing man!!
