I also wanted to celebrate a friendship that began in the first grade (well one moved to town in the 2nd grade). I always tell my daughter what a great job she did choosing her friends and how lucky she is that not only did their friendship survive the rigors of middle school but that it actually flourished. What makes it even better for me is that our families are really close as well. As the girls get ready to tackle the strange world of adolescence, we know that we will always have each others' backs.
I am really happy with the pictures that I took. Getting the opportunity to work in a unique and picturesque spot helped me capture the girls' true spirit and their beauty, both inner and outer. Plus they were a lot of fun and really good sports about the whole thing.
Girls, I hope that you all have many more years of being friends and making great memories. Good luck in high school, I'm sure that you will all do great. Just remember there is strength in numbers so if you stick together, then the sky's the limit.
