I have known Brendan a long time (I promised I wouldn't embarrass him so I can't say how I know him) and he's a terrific guy. He's got a really quick wit and a strong sense of right and wrong. So when his mother saw the pictures I took of my daughter and her friends from earlier this summer and asked me if I could take some senior pictures of him, I knew that it would be a pretty easy task. The only reservation that I had was where to take them. It is so much harder to find a good spot with guys. Actually I don't mean hard, just different. With girls, beaches and flowers and things like that immediately spring to mind but those aren't really "guy" locations. We thought of Fenway Park but obviously that would be difficult logistically. After some thought, we decided on his high school grounds and we were all pleased with the results.
But he was not too pleased to don a shirt and tie in front of the high school where anyone could see him. But he did it with a grin and bear it attitude (definitely more grin than bear).
How serendipitous is this? That's a "B" mowed into the lawn (to celebrate the Bruins win).
My favorite of the day (I think).
Or maybe this one is my favorite. I love the look of the clouds and we did dodge a bullet, the skies completely opened up about 15 minutes after we finished.
