So I told you on Monday that I was going to be hanging out with Brody and Chase and that I was very excited about it. Well it certainly did not disappoint, it was so much fun!! We went to one of my all-time favorite places and as soon as we got there, we went to check if there were any animals out. In one spot, there was a llama (or maybe an alpaca, I can never tell the difference). The boys were equal parts fascinated and leery.
Sometime since I last saw him, Chase started to walk and let me tell you, he is dying to keep up with his big brother. Although he was also really good about letting Brody hold his hand.
Chase also loved the gravel and mulch lined paths, whether it was playing with the stones or trying to eat the mulch
The beauty of the place that we were at is that there is plenty of space to explore and lots to see. The boys took full advantage of both.
Chase loves to give Brody kisses so one way to get them to pose together was to ask him to give a kiss. Of course, another way was just to have Brody lie in the grass so Chase could jump on his back!!
We did a couple of traditional poses,
and then decided to wrap it up and head out before we completely lost their attention. Luckily there was a tree and a bench on the way out that that the boys found fascinating.
A little bit more running around and then we really decided to call it a day.
I honestly don't think that there could have been a better way to start the week off than by spending Monday morning with these two!! And to add to the fun, not only did one of our other friends meet us so we could go for lunch afterward, we also had the best assistant ever with us. Just a perfect way to start the week!!
