Ok, you all know that when I saw this mural (painted on the side of a wall, how cool), there was no way that we weren't taking a picture with it, right? If you looked at it and said, "Oh man, she was all over that", then you were so right!! And lucky me, I had a senior that could just rock it!! And do you know why she rocked it? Because Gina was just awesome! Not only was she awesome in her own right, she also introduced me to an incredibly cool place. This place may have just had it all: beach grass and pilings,
a wooden bridge that was once in the Guinness Book of World Records, and was so cool under and over,
and once we drove over the bridge, a cool clam shack with a painted lobster on the side and a beach that was traditional on one side and marshy on the other. All that and the Duxbury Beach sign above!
Besides being gorgeous (of course!), Gina is an absolute doll and a true pleasure to work with. Plus she is a multi-sport captain, field hockey and ice hockey. And stunning, I did say that, right?
I loved Gina's answer when I asked her where she would like to go to school. She told me that she wanted to go to South Carolina. When I asked her what she wanted to major in, she said that she wasn't sure but she just knew that she wanted to go to school in South Carolina. Since I think college is the perfect time to explore different places to live (my own daughter, a junior in high school this year, wants to go to California), I think that this is a great plan. Plus South Carolina will be the perfect place for her since she has this beach modeling down thing pat, don't ya think?
In addition to all that, she was kind enough to bring and introduce me to her best friend, Anna. Best friends are, and should be, a huge part of senior year so it made me very happy to be able to capture some shots of the two of them together.
Thank you, Gina, for letting me share in your senior year and for introducing me to a new favorite place!! Enjoy your senior year and good luck with your hockey, field and ice. Please click here if you would like to see the rest of Gina's pictures.
