In the interest of full disclosure, I have to tell you that Marissa is my niece so I will be raving about her even more than I usually rave about my seniors. Although you don't have to be family to appreciate Marissa's awesomeness. Most people that meet her are blown away by how sweet and genuine and oh yeah, how so very pretty she is. We met at the beach and the sky and the water were gorgeous, all fluffy clouds and white caps and beautiful colors (beautiful girl, too!!)
After the beach, we were heading up to Fort Revere but there were a couple of stops that I wanted to make first. I just love the view and the color of the door at one spot and the other, we just happened to notice as we drove by. .
I asked Marissa and her mom if they minded if my mom came along with us and when they didn't, I decided to bring a couple of my daughters along as well. You know what that means?? That's right, this was more like a field trip than actual work!! We even all went out to dinner afterwards, so much fun. My senior, Kate, and Marissa are only 1 day apart so of course, they had to get in a picture together. After all, we have been posing them together since they were babies in the crib, literally. How did the time go by so fast??
We finally made it up to Fort Revere where there were a plethora of cool spots to shoot at. And this is where my other daughter came in handy, she was my "cloud" in a very bright spot. That was pretty scary though, she was on the edge and it was windy. Not being the biggest fan of heights, this had me on the edge of my seat, ha!
Marissa is a 3 sport star, she excels in soccer, basketball and lacrosse. She is certainly in great shape which once again came in handy with me because if there is one thing that I do, it is make my seniors move around!
We decided that we would try to catch the last of the light and the sunset at the pier. Boy am I glad that we did because it was magnificent, much like Marissa!!
One last quick change and we finished up for the night. Marissa wanted to make sure that she wore her red shirt and I can totally see why, what a gorgeous color on her!!
Marissa, I wish you all the best for your senior year and in the future as you pursue a career in nursing. With your sweet disposition and kind and generous heart, I have no doubt that you will make an extraordinary nurse. Good luck with your sports this year and I hope that your senior year meets, no exceeds, all your expectations. Love you lots. Please click here to see the rest of Marissa's pictures.
