3/7/2012 0 Comments Difference in perceptionMy daughter just asked if she could have a yogurt and add some chocolate chips to it. She does this all the time and it drives my husband insane, he feels that she is taking something that is good for you and ruining it with something not so good (I refuse to say that chocolate is bad in any way). He thinks, "What's the point?" I feel the complete opposite way about this. I think that it is taking something not so good (again not ever going to say it's bad) and adding something good to it. I think that the point is that the chocolate chips get her to eat the yogurt, something that she might otherwise not do and what's the harm? I guess it's just another variation of the glass half-full, glass half-empty discussion. And of course, we all know that the glass is half-full, duh. Unless it's wine and I'll have to get up soon to refill, then it's definitely half-empty.
