The last couple of Saturday afternoons, I've got to hang out with some great families and this past Saturday was no exception. I met the Shute brothers and their mom at Lake Massapoag in Sharon. The boys were a little shy and reserved at first but having 4 kids, I know that if you give them long enough, then they will forget that you are even there. Which is pretty much what happened. We let them go ahead of us and explore and "guided" them to a little stone building at the end of the lake. Then all we really had to do was show them this locked door and .......
they were off to the races.
First, they had to torture their mother by pretending to throw each other into the water. This is one of the many reasons that I am really sad that my son doesn't have a brother. He prefers to torture me by teasing his sisters incessantly.
After a while, they really settled in and started posing for me.
Of course, life wouldn't be complete without some silly faces!!
My daughter's favorite of the day (I had to ask her because I had a couple of favorites).
Oh by the way, the little one paid me maybe the best compliment ever. When they were getting in the car, he asked his mom, "Mommy, when are the pictures??" So I had him pose for one more so he would think he had his pictures done. Love it and them.
